If teeth are so damaged that they can no longer be saved with repair measures, they must be removed. This can be the case with deep carious areas, inflammation caused by the tooth, or if parts of the tooth break off or pins and crowns come loose.
After tooth extraction, it is advisable to replace missing teeth at an early stage in order to restore normal chewing behavior, prevent bone loss in the jaw due to lack of loading and avoid consequential damage caused by incorrect chewing.
