Salvida offers a comprehensive preventive check-up as part of the UNIQA VitalCheck and the “gesundheits_checks aktiv” for KFL and KFG policyholders.
The insurance company is thus setting an exclamation mark in the area of health prevention, which Salvida also stands for.
This service is available to UNIQA customers with a corresponding insurance policy. Others can take advantage of this program for a fee.
To benefit from the VitalCheck, all you need to do is make an appointment at Salvida. We will take care of everything else for you, including billing with the insurance company.
At your first appointment, a blood sample will be taken and you will provide a urine sample. You will be given a container for a stool sample.
The basic examination and tests as well as the discussion of findings take place during the second appointment.
Please bring sportswear with you to this appointment so that the exercise ECG can be performed in the best possible way.
The UNIQA VitalCheck is
divided into two days.
Test for glucose, blood and inflammation parameters
Test for the early detection of bowel cancer
This is an ultrasound examination of the upper abdomen/abdomen. The doctors take a close look at the liver, gall bladder, spleen, pancreas, abdominal aorta and kidneys.
After consultation, the carotid artery – the large main artery in the neck that supplies the head and especially the brain with blood – is also examined sonographically.
Here you will find a summary of the KFL/KFG VorsorgePlus “gesundheits_check aktiv” program at the Salvida Health Centre.
For the first examination appointment, follow the signs to General Medicine, which takes about 30 minutes. Here, a blood sample will be taken, a urine sample taken and a resting ECG recorded.
Preparation:
For the second examination appointment, please report to the specialist medicine/dentistry registration portal. They will accompany you to the waiting room from where you will be collected for the examinations.

You should allow around 15 minutes for the blood sample to be taken. The examination will take about two hours.
If you have an appointment in the morning, you can have a light breakfast. If you have an afternoon appointment, you should not have eaten anything for about four hours beforehand. You should come to the blood test on an empty stomach.
Please take the completed medical history form and the stool test, sportswear with you to the examination appointment. As shower facilities are available, you should also bring a towel.
No! Take the stool sample with you to the test appointment. We need three days for the test and will therefore inform you of the result by telephone. The sample must not be older than seven days.
If you are unable to provide a stool sample at the time of the test, for example if you are on your period, you can also provide it at a later date.
No, we from the Salvida team settle directly with the UNIQA insurance company.
You will receive the results in a folder immediately after the examination.
