Excessive sweating, also known as hyperhidrosis, can severely impair quality of life. Those affected often suffer from heavy underarm perspiration, which occurs even at normal temperatures and with little physical activity. A modern and effective method of treatment is the removal of sweat glands by suction (curettage).
How does the method work?
Sweat gland liposuction is a minimally invasive procedure that is performed under local anesthesia. First, a special tumescent solution is injected into the treatment area.
This solution anesthetizes the skin, loosens the tissue and facilitates the removal of the sweat glands. A fine cannula is then inserted under the skin to gently suction out the sweat glands.
