On Saturday, October 7, Salvida opened its doors for a look behind the scenes and at how things work. After more than a year at Salvida, we can proudly say that our building is full of great therapists and doctors. At the open day, they gave us an insight into the various services they offer here.
Salvida’s therapy areas are known for their variety and quality. A week ago, visitors were able to find out more about the various offers in the areas of body therapy, mind therapy, dentistry and specialist medicine. Our therapists and doctors were on hand to answer questions and show how they support our patients on their path to health.
From oral and maxillofacial surgery to psychology, dietology, massage, physiotherapy, pelvic floor training, dermatology and Qi Gong, everyone was represented.
Our underwater pool was also open to visitors. Here, interested visitors found out why water gymnastics is particularly suitable for rehabilitation.
The highlight of the day was the various opportunities for visitors to explore the entire building through interactive tours and gain an insight into the different areas of Salvida. In the day surgery department, experienced doctors explained the surgical procedure (cruciate ligament, gastroscopy, colonoscopy and more) and how patients are cared for. Many visitors were amazed at the modern facilities and the procedures we offer here. The interactive tour also included taster sessions of Qi Gong and skin analysis, which our beautician carried out on site.
Another special feature of the day was Sarah Hessenberger’s stand, also known as “das Herzstück”. Sarah has been supplying our Salve Café with her delicacies since the very beginning. On this day, she offered a tempting selection of delicious pastries. From freshly baked blueberry cheesecake to cinnamon or apple snails – Sarah’s delicacies were a real treat for the palate and added a sweet touch to the open day.
