A gentle colonoscopy, also known as a colonoscopy, is a procedure to examine the large intestine. It can help to detect and diagnose conditions such as polyps, ulcers, infections and cancer.
Our surgeons are experienced in performing this procedure safely, gently and efficiently and will explain the procedure to you during an initial consultation.
You should have your first colonoscopy at the age of 50, as the risk of bowel cancer increases considerably after this age.
