- Treatment of breast-related complaints that may occur during breastfeeding, such as sore nipples or breast inflammation. If necessary, we will initiate further diagnostics.
- Answers to your questions about taking medication while breastfeeding.
- Advice on the collection and storage of breast milk and alternative feeding methods, should these be necessary, e.g. for professional reasons.
- Support and advice on introducing complementary foods.
- Detailed diagnostics and, if necessary, treatment if a shortened lingual ligament is suspected. Indications of this may include sucking problems in the baby, insufficient weight gain or severe breast pain in the mother when breastfeeding.
- By taking a detailed medical history, examining the child’s mouth and observing breastfeeding, we determine whether a shortened tongue tie could be the cause of the symptoms. If this is the case, we offer a lingual ligament transection.
