The 3D X-ray is a modern imaging examination that creates detailed images of the teeth, jawbone and surrounding structures.
Compared to a standard X-ray, the structures can be viewed three-dimensionally, for example to be able to precisely assess and measure the bone before a planned implantation. Changes in the area of the paranasal sinuses can also be reliably and accurately assessed using 3D X-rays.
